Yealink phone and base pairing instructions

Modified on Wed, 17 Jun at 10:09 AM

To reconnect phones to the Yealink W70B base station, follow these steps. The Yealink W70B is designed for use with Yealink DECT handsets, such as the W56H or W53H models.

1. Ensure the Yealink W70B Base Station is Powered On
2. Place the Handset in Pairing Mode

On the handset, go to the "Settings" menu or "Registration" option. Depending on the model of the handset, this could vary slightly, but it's typically found under the settings menu. Go to Menu > Registration > Register Handset; You’ll be prompted to either manual or automatic registration. Choose Automatic Registration

3. On the Yealink W70B base station, press and hold the "Paging" button (located on the front of the base station) for 5-10 seconds. The registration LED on the base station will start blinking to indicate it's in pairing mode and is ready to accept a handset. If the base station has a screen, you may also see an option to enable registration from the web interface.

4. Complete the Pairing Process; Once the Yealink handset is in registration mode and the base station is in pairing mode, the handset should automatically find and register with the base station. On the handset's screen, you should see a confirmation message saying "Handset Registered" or "Registration Successful".
